This painting was born during a season of deep uncertainty — a time when I was wrestling with questions about my future, my work, and what path to take next. In the middle of that struggle, I felt the Lord gently remind me of the words from the book of James: "Count it all joy when you face various trials."
The three hydrangeas and surrounding leaves became symbols of that quiet, anchoring wisdom. They represent the beauty that can grow even in unknown, difficult seasons. This piece is a reminder to take heart and hold onto joy — not because the journey is always easy, but because He is in control. The One who formed you already knows the ending to your story, even before the beginning.
Let this painting be a visual echo of that truth — that joy can coexist with trial, and hope always has the final word.
