This piece was created as a reminder of the comfort I find in my faith, especially during seasons that feel heavy or uncertain. When life feels like a valley, I’m continually drawn back to Psalm 23:4: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Streams of Comfort reflects the peace that can exist even in the midst of difficulty, the quiet assurance that we are held and cared for. I find so much hope in knowing that hard seasons are temporary, and that growth often happens beneath the surface long before we see it.
As we move into a new year, I hope this painting serves as a gentle reminder to you that light always overcomes darkness, and that we are never walking alone.
