Life is never truly still—it moves like the wind, flowing through the foothills, shifting with every season. “Untethered” is a reflection of that fluidity, capturing the beauty of change and the art of letting go. With rich, earthy tones of ochre, rust, deep blues, and soft greens, this piece evokes a sense of movement, freedom, and grounding all at once.

I painted this intuitively, without a rigid plan—just following my instincts, letting the brushstrokes guide me. And in that process, I found peace. Every layer, every blend of color, is a reminder that we don’t have to have it all figured out to create something beautiful. 

This is one of those paintings I almost don’t want to part with, but I love the idea of it finding a home where it can serve as a daily reminder: embrace the unknown, trust the process, and stay untethered.
